PP Viewer 2003 behaviors

I have 2 very rich (audio & image, with lots of custom animation)
presentations that I am trying to open out of a browser window. I am linking
to the presentations by just pointing to the ppt file in the href tag. Since
this whole shebang is to be on a CD, I have just associated the ppt files
with PPviewer 2003 (which is on the CD as well) and the viewwer comes up fine
with the presentation. However I have some glitches:
1. How can I get rid of the security warning screen ("some files can damage
your computer..."
2. When the presentation ends, I would like the black screen click to just
close the viewer. All it will do now is to restart the slide show. I assume
there's a switch, but I don't know where it is.
3. I get what seems to be a path error "there is no disk in the drive.
Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR2. I am testing this on
an image on a hard drive and am wondering if that is what is causing the
error.

Any help would be appreciated.

1. You can't get rid of the security warning when you distribute your file to
other systems. You can suppress the message on your own system. See:

"Some files can contain viruses ..." message when clicking a hyperlink
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00406.htm

2. On your last slide, link to "End Show". That way the Viewer will close and
you won't see the ugly black screen.

3. It sounds like you have an "absolute" reference to one of your removable
media drives (floppy, CD, or other). Links to audio, video, and other external
files need to be "relative" when distributing a presentation. See the
following:

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or email a
presentation

[TOP ISSUE - Are you having difficulty opening presentations in PowerPoint
that you just created (you can save, but not open)? -
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=329820]

Hello,

It sounds that, although there are workarounds, there are several things
that you would like to be easier to do in PowerPoint Viewer.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint Viewer provide this kind of functionality, don't forget to send
your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft by either:

PREFERRED METHOD:

A) If you are using Microsoft's web-based, online newsreader for Office
communities (http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx),
click on the "New" drop-down menu and choose "Suggestion for Microsoft"
from directly within the newsreader web page.

OR, NEXT BEST METHOD:

B) If you are using another newsreader (such as Microsoft Outlook Express),
submit your suggestion using your web browser at the following address:
http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
not having a specific feature, HOW MUCH time and effort ($$$) is spent
working around a specific limitation of the current product, etc. Remember
that Microsoft receives THOUSANDS of product suggestions every day and we
read each one but, in any given product development cycle, there are ONLY
sufficient resources to address the ones that are MOST IMPORTANT to our
customers so take the extra time to state your case as CLEARLY and
COMPLETELY as possible so that we can FEEL YOUR PAIN.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
