PP Show should package to play on any DVD player

I would like to be able to package a PowerPoint show...animation, music and
timing (the whole created show) onto a DVD disk for viewing on any DVD
player connected to a television... This PP Show should auto play as a movie.
This would really expand the usefulness of my presentations. I know this
can be created. As it is now my presentations/autorun shows will only
package as a CD.

You first need video capturing software to convert your PPT to video (wmv or
MPEG) and DVD authoring software.
I have achieved excellent results using:

PresenterSoft's PowerVideoMaker Pro (to convert ppt to wmv file)
Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3 SE to convert wmv->MPEG2 and burn to DVD

The results are extremely good (preserves images very well, all animations,
embedded and linked music files including ones overlapping several slides
and transitions are nicely preserved).
A fairly large ppt presentation was converted recently to DVD, tested on a
few cheap DVD players ... all looked perfectly and was used in a recent
conference with excellent results.
