I have 14 slides of organizational charts and my manager
keeps changing her mind about the colors and borders that
she wants. I thought if there was a master slide, I could
change it once and forget about it.

Hello,
If you use any one Organzation Chart styles (assuming you are using the new
diagramming tool in Office 2003), with the exception of "Primary Colors",
changes to the color scheme will be automatically reflected in the chart.
The font typeface used by the organization chart depends on the text box
defaults (not the same as Slide Master formatting) at the time the chart
nodes are created and the typeface for existing nodes does not
change/update in response to changes made to the defaults AFTER the chart
has been created.
If you (or anyone else reading this message) have suggestions for
improvements to how Ofice diagrams respond to changes to slide design,
color schemes, defaults, etc., don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR
OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
not having a specific feature, HOW MUCH time and effort ($$$) is spent
working around a specific limitation of the current product, etc. Remember
that Microsoft receives THOUSANDS of product suggestions every day and we
read each one but, in any given product development cycle, there are ONLY
sufficient resources to address the ones that are MOST IMPORTANT to our
customers so take the extra time to state your case as CLEARLY and
COMPLETELY as possible so that we can FEEL YOUR PAIN.
IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
