PP object conversion

Have a series of PP presentation created in PP2k and 97.
Many of the graphics were produced in a 3rd party program
and imported to the presentations. When opened in PP
2002, the graphics extend beyond the size borders,
cropping does not allow correcting the issue. Is there a
way to rapidly convert the objects without having to deal
with each graphic as a separate item? If go to an option
to select it to be a MS drawing object will make the
conversion separately for each. cannot find a global type
of change to make this happen easier.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

There is really no way to do this other than on a per-object basis, but it
really shouldn't be happening in the first place (objects should not resize
just because you open them up in PPT 2002 instead of in PPT 2000 or PPT 97).

A few questions:

1) What was the original file format of the graphics created in the 3rd
party program (*.CGM, *.JPG, *.EPS, etc.)
2) What was the manufacturer, title and version of the 3rd party program
3) There are many ways to bring graphics into PowerPoint, What were the
specific steps/commands/procedures by which the graphics were placed into
the presentation(s).
4) Would it be possible to send me a sample original graphic file and a
PowerPoint slide (I don't need an entire deck) which our Test department
could use to try to reproduce the problem?

If you can send the files, please send them to (after unscrambling) the
