I'm am trying to link screen shots to other screen
shots.....so I draw a clear box around parts of them and
link that clear box to another screenshot and it works
fine.......However, when I try to copy and paste that
hyperlinked clear box.....it only works as a hyperlink
around the edges of that box.....I need the whole box
to "work". Is there a way around this because I have
nearly 200 slides with about 50 of the same hyperlinks on
them......drawing each one out is a pain

Let me know...thanks.

Which version of PowerPoint are you using? In later versions, you can
make the boxes filled, but set the tranparency level to something very
high (99%). This might work better for you.

I'm using office 2000.......I can click the box that says
semi-transparent....but it doesn't let me input a value.

Yes, PowerPoint 2000 only offers 50% transparency through the
semi-transparent option.

Usually, you can duplicate the entire slide to get over this problem - or
you can create boxes with solid fills for all links and then just format one
of them to be transparent. Then pick up that attribute with the Format
Painter - double-click the Format Painter icon so that it is "sticky" - then
click on the other boxes to make them transparent.

Do let us know if this worked for you.
