PP file sizes...

Sometimes when I get customers first version of a
presentation, it is rather big. I streamline the images
and everything that the presentation contains. After that
the file size is smaller but still to large. I copied the
content to a new template and saved it. Suddenly the file
became a perfect small size. For you to get an idea of
the difference in file size before and after, the file
size after my streamlining job was about 4 Mb. After when
I copied it to a new template - 1,4 Mb with the same
content!?!?

Anyone know what is wrong?

Regards,

Joakim

Joakim,

I've received presentations before....and done the image optimization thing
and still they were too big.

The "review features" mentioned on the Faq page were to blame.

You might also check how they are inserting the pictures and other objects.
Using drag and drop or cut and paste instead of insert can really bloat your
file. A second thing to check is whether they have placed things on the
other masters or on the area around the slides.
