when I make a pp file in color and then save to a pdf file and then publish
to my website, the color disappears and its all in b/w ... can someone tell
me why and how to fix it? also, is there a way to reduce a pdf file size??
In doc file its only like 100+ k .. when I save it to a pdf file...it then
is like 444 k ... whew!

any help appreciated.

Let's leave the web site out of it. What happens when you view the PDF
right after creating it? Still b/w I'd guess?

How are you making the PDF? If you're printing to a PS file using a PS
printer driver, then distilling the results, you need to make sure that the
driver you've chosen is one for a color PS printer, else you will get b/w.

Best bet, if you have it, is to print to the Distiller or Adobe PDF driver.

There are some PDF utilities that might help, but they tend to be pricey.

It's hard to say why the file size is what it is w/o knowing what software
you're using to make the PDF, what settings you're using with the software
and what's in the original file.
