pp+background

I created a 7 slide slide show, I created a 3 layer background jpeg with
fireworks and saved both. Inserted the jpeg as background on all 7 slides,
however, when I open it up on any other system that does not have fireworks
or paint shop pro, the image is not visable.

Can anyone suggest a format that will work. I have tried MS paint, gif and
jpeg.

Not really. I made a 3 layer design in fireworks and it worked fine

Not really. I made a 3 layer design in fireworks and it worked fine

PowerPoint supports JPG but JPG doesn't support layers.
PowerPoint doesn't natively play Fireworks files.

Is this some kind of animation? If so, you'd need to have it in GIF or (less
widely compatible but still pretty good) Flash. Can Fireworks save to one of
those?
