I work in a school I just upgraded all of our classrooms to Office 2003.
Many instructors are complaing (and I've witnessed it twice now) about
missing graphics from their presentations. Graphics like clip art and
graphs will disspear from a slide, but going back and forth to that slide
will get them to appear. Any thoughts?

Go to Help > Check for Updates and follow the links to Check for Updates. It
sounds like Service Pack 1 has not been applied to Office 2003.

For clarification, is this happening in Slide Show mode, or Normal mode, or
both? What video cards do the systems have installed? Can you try it in
Windows Safe Mode and see if it happens there too?

You may need to check the website of the video card's manufacturer to see if
they have an updated driver.

This is only happening in slideshow mode.
The grpahics cards are integrated on the boards in Dell GX260 & GX270
computers. Intel 845G chipset for the 260, 865G for the GX270

We are also using SMARTBoards and the accompanying software.

Can you start with a PC and presentation where the problem recurs and disable
or uninstall the smartboards software? In other words, let's see if taking
that out of the loop makes a difference.
