PP 2003 can't read graph created in PP2000

I am having a problem with PP2003 not being able to
display a xy graph that was created in PP2000. The graph
was a manual creation using Power Point 2000's Picture and
Control toolboxes to manually draw. I can reopen the file
in 2000 and the Picture displays properly. If opened in
PP2003 the slide displays as empty. Is this a bug? Why
would MS release a product that doesn't fully support a
manually drawn picture that was drawn by one of their
tools in an very recent earlier version?

If anyone has any knowledge of how to fix this please let
me know. I greatly appreciate any information.

Thanks,
Adam

The bad news is that yes, it is a bug. The good news is that there is a fix
that you haven't installed yet. Go to Help > Check for Updates and you'll
be sent to the Office Online site. Follow the links to Check for Updates
and install the hot fix that Microsoft released right after Office 2003
appeared on the market.
