we had problems loading presentation created with pp2000 into pp2003.
the message was something like "file corrupted", and not loading at all!

finaly, we had to find some person's notebook with office2000/pp2000
installed to
load and view that presentation.

please, could someone commnet is such behaviour expected?
maybe there is some feature in pp2000 not suported in pp2003, or maybe some
components missing or whatever ...

as i said, file was correct, since we opened it with another pp2000, but not
on *any*
pp2003.

thanks!

Yes and no. It's a known bug in the first release of PowerPoint 2003.
Service Pack 1 (SP1) fixes it.
Start PowerPoint, make sure you have a network connection then choose Help,
Check for Updates. Apply the recommended updates and you should be in business
again.
