I have a user that wants the following. They have a slide with a question at
the top and a list of possible answers underneath. They want the correct
answer to be highlight somehow when the presentor clicks.

Here's what I've come up with. I'm having them create a second text box
with the same list of questions, with the correct answer in color and the
rest faded (grey). That text box will appear when the user clicks - showing
up on top of the first text box, effectively hiding it.

The end result is what they want - I'm just wondering if there's a
better/different way to do this.

Thanks!

In PPT 2000, that is probably the easiest solution. If you were using 2002
or newer, a lot of additional animation options would open up for you,
including changing the font colors on the text (wrong ones to red, right one
to green, or some such).
