Are there PowerToys for Windows 2000 or are the Windows 95 PowerToys compatible with Windows 2000? The TweakUI utility from Windows 95 PowerToys (ver. 1.33) appears to work with Windows 2000, but I don't know about the rest.
TweakUI v1.33 is actually an updated version. If I recall correctly, the
Win95 version does not work on Win2K. SendToX and DOSHere both work find
in Win2K. I use them regularly. DeskMenu probably works, but I haven't
felt the need for it. CabView is redundant -- there's a better version
built into Explorer. XMouse, QuickRes, and TapiTNA almost certainly won't
work. According to my notes, APlayExt, Content, Explore, FindX, FlexiCD,
and Target worked on WinNT. Thay may not work on Win2K, but I don't think
it will hurt anything to try them out.
