Run the executable file called PPTVIEW.EXE, or click on the 'PowerPoint
Viewer' icon on the desktop, or click on the 'PowerPoint Viewer' program
link in the start menu.
Any of these will activate the viewer program. After displaying the
'splash' screen, it will ask you for the file you want to open. Navigate to
the PPT and click 'OPEN'. It should open, if it is allowed to.
If you are opening a PPT from a mail program, you may want to save the PPT
file to your desktop first, to make navigating to it easier, later.
