it won't let me save my powerpoint presentation on the E
drive. It says i do not have acces to it and i must
contact the administrator, but i am the administrator on
the computer.

It therefore will be easy for you to convince the administrator to
change the permissions on that drive/folder to enable the ID you are
using to write to that resource. Right mouse click (with Explorer),
then "Security and Sharing".
