Hi
Am new to using XP and I have the Home edition on my
laptop. But I cannot find Powerpoint??
Is it even included in the Home edition, or is it only in
the Professional edition?
Stoooopid question I know, but do Microsoft allow you to
download it from their webiste as an upgrade? I've
allready looked and can't find it?
Thanks guys
Shaun

Greetings --

Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Access,Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows
operating system. They are, and always have been, separate
applications, that must be purchased and installed separately.

1) Go to store/shop that sells computer software.

2) Purchase the either the stand-alone version of PowerPoint or the
Microsoft Office suite of your choice.

3) Return home.

4) Insert installation CD in PC's CD drive and follow the on-screen
prompts and instructions to install application and desired additional
features.

Hi I know this isn't a reply but I could work out how to write a question.
Does anyone know why my computor won't let me copy powerpoint files to my
re-writer, it keeps saying files on this drive are 'read only' and then
states that this is on the 'd' drive. The files themselves are not read only
- Danny

Powerpoint is part of the Microsoft Office suite, not part of the XP
operating system (or any other).
