I created a presentation (about 30 slides with sound) and I play in my
computer and goes OK, but when I try to e-mail it I got a message "could not
perform the attachments". I also noticed that I already compressed the
pictures and yet the file is 23,046 KB. What could be the problem. Thank
you

Well, clearly your email can't handle sending an attachment of 23MB. That is
not uncommon. The real question is why you can't get the pictures to
compress any better. I have noticed that Office's compression doesn't always
work very well. Here are a couple of options:

(1) Check to make sure that Fast Saves is turned off (Tool > Options >
Save). If it was on, then resave the file to a different name and check the
size.

(2) Try compressing again and make sure that you pressed the button to
compress all the pictures instead of just the one you selected.

(3) Try PFC Express at <http://www.playsforcertain.com/>. The site says it
is for 2003, but I think it works fine in 2002 as well. It will help you
email large files.

(4) Check out the other excellent suggestions at:

Why are my PowerPoint files so big? What can I do about it?

David, thank you very much. All the problem was related to the files
compression. I used your suggestions and it worked. Again, thank you very
much. I was struggling for hours with that problem...
