When I insert a movie and then open the Custom Animation
pane, there is a heading called Trigger and the .avi is
listed under it. I have not been able to find any
reference to what 'trigger' is, or means, or what it
does. Does someone know the answer?? Thanks for any
insights you can give me.

Hi, skbice. That trigger appears when you added the animation setting to
play the movie "with previous" or "after previous." The trigger is added
automatically, and it actually allows you to also start the movie by
clicking it with the mouse.

It's kinda confusing the first time you see it because it's unexpected.

Thanks Echo. Frankly, I don't understand its purpose.
When I first insert the movie, the dialog box opens to ask
if I want to movie to play auto or not. Based on my
response, it will be auto or mouse click. Trigger almost
sounds like a redundancy.
