Ay

The command is no longer under File, although help tells
you to go there for it.

I have been told that MS have removed it (why not complete
the job by removing the reference via the help eh?)...
does anyone know if this is a load of baloney and it is
lurking elsewhere?

If it has been removed, anyone know if there are plans to
put it back, or how I can get MS to put it back?

Thanks Geetesh - I have got long menus on, but the option
is simply not there.

Pack and Go is not installed with the standard installation. If you didn't
do a Custom installation, you'll need to insert your CD, run setup.exe, and
select "Add/Remove Features" from the menu. Then locate Pack and Go under
PowerPoint in the list and set it to "Run from this Computer".

Pack and Go isn't included as part of the Typical installation. To get it,
you'd need to pick a Custom install and choose the Pack and Go option, as I
recall.

But it might also be that the menu item got customized off the File menu
accidentally, so before doing anything else, do Tools, Customize, click the
Commands tab, click File in the left hand list then look for Pack and Go in the
list on the right. Drag it to the File menu, wait until the menu opens, then
drop it where you want it to go.

If that doesnt' work or if there's no Pack and Go item available, then you'll
want to re-run Setup from your Office XP CD, choose a Custom install and add
Pack 'n Go
