I use Office 2000 on Windows 2000. I would like to install PowerPoint XP on my Windows 2000 laptop. While I know that the best thing would be to install Windows XP, I not quite ready to do that yet but I want to take advantage of some of the features in PowerPoint XP for a presentation I'm doing in the next week.

Will it work or am I likely to find that I no longer have PowerPoint 2000 or PowerPoint XP working?

Thanks / Gerry

You should be fine. Do a custom install and install to a different
folder than where Office 2000 is. Also tell the installation not to
remove your previous versions of the Office programs.

I have had a great deal of success installing Office XP on
Win 2K systems. Not to say something couldn't go wrong,
but I've done it on more than 25 PC's where I work (we
have site licensing). You'll like the XP improvements and
additions.
