Powerpoint Won't Display my Picture

Powerpoint will not display inserted graphics or pictures in the edit window
but they still appear in the Slide Sorter View ont eh left side of the
program window. The image that started having this problem was a shift+print
screen -->paste image from a website, but now it has happened on multiple
images in different ppt files. I can see the handles for the image and move
it around, but it's like it's an invisible image in the edit window, any
changes i make are reflected in the Slide Sorter, so i know the image in
there, it jsut won't display. Any ideas?
