I have recently completed a PowerPoint presentation using
PowerPoint 2002 on my PC running Windows XP. I would
like to send the finished product to other folks for
viewing that will be using both Windows PC's and Apple
Macintosh computers. What must I do to ensure accurate
reproduction of the presentation regardless of the
platform?

Dave,

Make sure that you are using common fonts..e.g. Arial, Times, Wingdings,
Symbol

Will the 'other folks' have powerpoint?

If not consider sending a link to the powerpoint viewers (free)
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00153.htm
There is one available for mac users and one for pc users.

If you know the other folks do not have powerpoint and will be user the
"viewers" then turn off the new features of powerpoint 2002 (tools, options)
as they viewers will not show the new features.

Another alternative is to save the presentation as "HTML" from the "File"
menu.
Then upload that to your webspace if you have any.

Kind regards
