I have created a presentation in PowerPoint 2000 and would
like to distribute it via CD to others who do not have
PowerPoint. If I download the Powerpoint viewer from the
Microsoft web site and copy it to the CD with the
presentation will there be anything more required on the
part of those wanting to view the presentation? Do they
have to install the viewer themselves? I am trying to find
a simple way for those without PowerPOint (and those that
aren't very comfortable w/the computer) to view this
presentation as easily as possible.

Thank you -

Pack and go your ppt presentation.
You select a folder to pack it to. Then unpack your
packed presentation to another folder. The unpacked files
that are now in this folder should be burnt onto the cd.
(don't forget to include all files, watch for hidden
files) Then add an autorun file to the cd. This is a
simple file that will automatically run the ppt on the cd
once it has been inserted into the drive. It auto
executes the ppt viewer.exe file.
