I have a computer with PowerPoint viewer installed that I would like to run
a presentation on with a video that automatically plays on one of the
slides. I can't seem to get the video running on a machine with just the
viewer, is there a workaround to this at all?

Please help
Kev

Place the video and the presentation in a folder with a short path.
Example: C:\test

This assumes the video file is present and has been linked properly.

If you
Insert using insert > movie AND
Place the vid in the same folder as the pres BEFORE inserting AND
The folder has a short path AND
You send the whole folder to the new computer

It should work! :o)

Thanks for the quick replies, I thought that might be the case. I did try
and put the presentation and and video file in the same path directory to
no-avail. :(

Your plan of putting all the files into the same folder is a good one.
Unfortunately you have to do all the linking from within the full version of
PowerPoint.
