I just tried to install powerpoint viewer and still can't get it to open
files. It says that installation was sucessful. I need help.

It is showing in my hard drive and it shows it in my file folder but I still
keep getting an error message that says - The file does not have a program
associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the
Folder options control panel.-- Any suggestions( I have already uninstalled
and reinstalled it several times-with no luck)

Thank you so much I got it now - I was going crazy -I had tried everything I
knew. Again Thanks soooo much

Are you trying to open from within email?

Can't open attached presentations from within Outlook Express after applying

If it's really just a file associations issue, see

Finally, are you sure you're trying to open a PowerPoint file (that is, a
PPT or PPS file)?
