Hi, I'm doin a project for school, and I need some features
of Office XP, is there anyway for me to run a PowerPoint XP
viewer off a CD? I can't install it on the computer at
school...

Yes, you can start the viewer off the CD. The steps are almost the same as
an Autorun CD - just that you don't make an autorun.inf file.

See http://www.echosvoice.com/ for do-it-yourself instructions and
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/acdpc_instructions.htm for
an application for creating an autorun CD that includes the Viewer so that
the presentation will run automatically without installing anything to the
user's harddrive.

.
Depending on what you need, any Powerpoint presentation
can be saved to a Writable CD or if small enough, to
Floppy. These can be reloaded in the same way as any other
document.
Alternately, you can use the "Pack and Go" option to put
the presentation onto CD to enable you to deliver it using
a computer that does not have PowerPoint installed.
