I just started working with the PowerPoint Viewer 2003.
It's working great but I can't get it to playback at any
size other than 1024 x 768. I use a Windows API call to
move it to the secondary display and attempt to match the
resolution there. No go, however the old Viewer 97 sizes
correctly. Does anyone know if this is a bug, and/or if
it will be fixed anytime soon?

You're probably going to have to tell us more about what you are doing,
because the Viewer works fine here at multiple screen resolutions, but I'm
not forcing it to the secondary monitor.

Forcing it to the secondary monitor is probably the most
likely suspect. To make a long story short, I wrote an
application in Macromedia Director, and use what's called
an Xtra that allows me to make Windows API calls. I use
this xtra to move the PPViewer over to the secondary
monitor where my application needs to use it. The old
Viewer 97 will shrink or grow to the right size, but
won't play the newest animations and whatnot. The new
Viewer2003 will move to the correct location but will not
adjust it's resolution to fit the new size. If I set it
to 800x600, the window will fill that space, but part of
the show will be cut off. I wonder if it's still reading
the resolution of my primary monitor, which is set to
1024x768? If that's the case, it seems like a bug to me.
