PowerPoint Viewer 2003 and Vista

I've created a PPT presentation and packaged it to a CD using PowerPoint
2003. The presentation is a series of 6 slides - each with a 5-6 minute video
on it. When I play the file on an XP workstation it's fine. However, when I
play it on Vista two of the videos (each longer than 6 minutes) end
prematurely and it appears as though the presentation restarts (returns back
to Slide #1 - but it's not supposed to).
Are there any known issues with PowerPoint Viewer 2003 and Vista that could
cause such a problem - and if there are - is there a workaround?

It sounds as if you (the Vista system) is using the wrong codec for playback
of the video. Try installing the Vista Codec Pack.

If that is not practical, you will need to convert the video to a standard
Microsoft format that will play across all Windows PCs. To do that you
might want to look at PFCPro. (www.playsforcertain.com)

I figured the codecs might be an issue - but the vids are all WMVs... and all
play on the vista machines without problem when run through Windows Media
player.
