As they always says: Hitting 2 birds with One stone.
Save it again as or choose Save as Web Page --- these are the many advantages over other format of PPT e.g., ppt & pps:
1. It need ONLY a computer browser which everyone got it.
2. They don't have to download heavy PPT files.
3. If you upload your PPT project folder to your website.
4. They can ONLY view it and never got your precious files.
5. They can NEVER change ANY of your files or OBJECTS even if you
distribute your PPT .htm format in a CD.
6. If you uses Paste Special to change all your TEXTS Boxes and delete
6 unnecessary files for them to open BUT very important to protect your
projects. If you need more security; password secured it. No need to buy
3rd party softwares. Your PPT is good enough and just add some FREE
Add-in, MS Producer, VBA, Macho, etc to make it more robustive.
7. BTW, only Paste Special will present your true Texts you used in your
presentation creation and they don't have to install your new Fonts.
8. You can as easily change any background images or music to personalize
your clients wishes through .htm sub_folder files only.
9. Do NOT use DVD unless your 700MB CD is too small for your projects.
10. CD is more International of Standard and playable 100% all the times
in PC's.
11. Why in PC's only --- because PC's gives more pictures resolution than
in TV format.
12. But wait --- don't worry --- because in the nearest future all DVD players
and Recorders, Digital Projectors, HDTV, etc has the compatibility to
play any HTML files. Then you can use PC to TV DVI-D port & cable.
13. Notice this? Almost all new manufactured DVD Players and Recorders
an now can play JPEG images in Slide Show style. If JPEG can then HTML
is as easy. Who ever manufacture it first will dominate the competitive
market.
14. More to tells BUT are you not living in a DIGITAL World? Everything
are possible and nothing is uncertain or can be possible if not now
then all inventions will continues forever unstill it become standard or
everyday commodities.
My 14 reasons will tell you --- YES! Either I start from scrap or convert any
..ppt and .pps into .htm or even from .htm itself if it is not password protected.
They open it in one click.
If I wrote a Powerpoint presentation using vba code with text boxes and such,
packaged it up on a cd, would anyone be able to run it on any computer?
