I create memorial services on powerpoint, however I can only save to a CD.
Some people do not have access to a computer. When will powerpont allow us
to burn a presentation to DVD?

Use software like that from http://www.techsmith.com to convert your pres to
a movie, then convert the movie to an MPEG2 file. Next use a DVD authoring
program to actually create the DVD menu and setup. Then burn the DVD.

look here
http://www.geovid.com/Presentation_to_Video_Converter
i tried it, so i'm going to tell you more about it

1. easy to use and intuitive interface
2. ppt/pps 2 avi/asf/wmv/mpeg conversion
3. option "burn cd/dvd" (it's also a cd-dvd-burner, wow!)
4. no audio and video quality loss (many similar programs have problems with audio)
5. options "auto click" (very useful!!!) and width-height changing

you can use a free version
