PowerPoint to Word

I have several PowerPoint files, that each have several slides in the file.
One has 53 slides in it.

I need to get it to Word, which I do with the 'Send To' option. My question
could really be for the Word Discussion Group; but I will start here.

When I use the Send To option, is there a way to have the slides default to
a specific size? The table comes up in Word with 3 columns:

1. Slide number
2. Slide itself
3. The blank lines I request in the Send To option.

I take out column 1, the slide number. I don't need that at all. That is
an easy thing to take care of. However, I need the table to be a certain
width and the slides to be a certain size. Currently I am doing the resizing
manually. I use the table properties to change the width of the table and
the width of the column. It is the actual slide size that I would like to
have a 'default' on. With some of these files having as many slides as they
do, this is a long process to do each slide individually.

So, is there a way to 'pre-set' my slide size so I don't have to do each and
every one manually?

Try (free demo) SlideIntoWord. You may still want to manually delete column
1 (Slide Numbers) but the slide image resizing will be done for you.

I would love to try the demo version, but I will need this full time and my
office won't purchase the program for me even if it does work. Need other
options for this.

Your only completely free option is to do what you have been doing, manually
re-sizing each of the slide images.

If this program does what it claims, then I would suggest that the first time
you use it for 50+ slides it will pay for itself in time saved. Your company
would be very short-sighted to refuse to pay $20 to save hours of your time.
If I was in your position I think I would even buy it myself to save myself
the utter frustration of resizing each slide. Think about it!

I appreciate everyone's help. However, when you work for the government?
They don't like to spend money on anything that is really useful....only the
stuff they THINK is useful.

Thanks again everyone!

And I'm guessing that you're also restricted to installing only approved software, so
Rae's suggestion of buying Bill's add-in yourself, however sensible, might not fit
your situation either.

Been there. Fought that. Tore the t-shirt in frustration.

Good luck with it.

Hey!!!!! This is the one tip I totally forgot!!!!! D'oh!!!!!!!

Thanks for the reminder!!!!!!!!!!!

What everyone else said.

One time-saver in Word, though...format one of the slide thumbnails, then
select the next one and hit F4 to repeat. I used to resize slides that way,
and it actually goes pretty quickly.
