I can save the powerpoint presentation to htm, however what I am looking to
do is have a slide show that where the slides numbers are on the left frame,
can be replaced with a thumbnail of the photo that would be displayed in the
right frame. Currently, it saves fine and works well on the website, but it
just list slide numbers on the left frame. In looking at the files that are
created automatically, it does create a thumbnail of each slide, however it
doesn't show up on the web.???
Thanks,

While PPT won't do this, there are any number of programs that will take a
collection of images files and generate "photo galleries" in various formats
(with clickable thumbnails that bring the full size image into view).

By combining one of these with PPT's ability to export a presentation as
images, you might have just the thing you're after.

I use one called BreezeBrowser (www.breezesys.com) that uses templates that you
can edit to suit your own requirements. They have one called "frames" that
produces almost exactly what you're after, only with the "index of thumbnails"
at the top rather than to one side. I'd expect you could edit the main
frameset to change that.

The free demo lets you do anything you can with the full package; it's just
limited to twelve images in a folder.
