powerpoint to dvd with sound

I made a slide show for my wedding with sound, and I would
like to put it on dvd so others can see it without a
computer. How can I put it on dvd, where it will play the
slide show with sound and transitions

Hello Cody,

Even the latest version of PowerPoint for Windows, PowerPoint 2003, does
not have the built in ability to save presentations as video files or other
video formats such as DVD-Video.

So, if the ability save presentations to DVD-Video, directly from within
PowerPoint, is important to you (or anyone else reading this message), or
if there are specific features of PowerPoint slide show that you would like
to see (which might eliminate the need to save presentations as DVD-Video),
don't forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
