Oh God It's Him Again

Greetings

Is there a way of converting/saving a Powerpoint presentation to D/DVD so
that it can be played on a standalone DVD player and viewed on a television
screen?

The presentation is basically text and images, no sounds, no animation. I'd
like to be able to move on a frame at a time as I would if showing the
presentation from my laptop through a projector.

I have Nero for burning to disk.

Cheers

OK just did what I should have done first - Googled - the question really
should be, is there any free software that will convert?

I don't know that you'll be able to get the kind of control you're after,
but have a look here:
Convert presentations to VHS or DVD video

There are a couple of products on the market now that are supposed to
convert PPT to DVD-video. Since your presentation is really only text and
images, they may work well for what you need. If you search the DVD threads
in this group, you should turn up links to both products.
