Spell check works in Word, but not in PowerPoint. In PPT, I just get a box
that says The Spelling Check is Complete, but it does not catch any errors.

What happens if you create a new presentation - put a few obvious spelling
mistakes an d then do a spell check?

I'm guessing that either bad words have been added to the dictionary or
someone has chose to 'ignore' the names and spelling mistakes in this
particular presentation

I am having the same problem. PowerPoint will not spellcheck. I have searched around the Internet for a solution without success.

If I attempt to spell check a Power Point with obvious spelling errors; Nothing happens except for the display of the dialog that says "The spelling check is complete"

What would cause PowerPoint to be unable to spell check?
