I was wondering if there was a plugin, or a way to slow down animations in PowerPoint. I know there is a fast, medium and slow setting, but the slow setting is not nearly slow enough for what I'm trying to achieve as an effect.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Scott,

If you mean slide transitions, they are still slow, medium and fast even in
PowerPoint 2003. Many other animations were updated from powerPoint 2002.

You might want to look at OfficeOne Animations at http://officeone.mvps.org/anims/anims.html - it provides more animations and also provides more options for some of the existing PowerPoint animations. If you are looking for changing parameters for a particular animation effect, which is not available in OfficeOne Animations, please email me. My email id is at my website.

Under effect options/timings you can type in the speed that you want. For
example, Very Slow = 5 secs. If you type in 20 instead you will get a
very,very slow effect.

This works really well for the exit animation "fade".

Scott,
Which version of PowerPoint? Unless you have PowerPoint 2002 or later, you
don't have much control.

This only works for custom animations. The standard slide transitions only
give you choices for fast, medium, and slow and you cannot change their fade
times.
