PowerPoint Slide Show not opening.

PowerPoint 2003.
When I open a PowerPoint Slide Show in PP2003 in goes straight to Microsoft
Picture Manager, sits there and does not open. I have noticed something about
"picture short cuts", although this does not appear all the time.

Please advise any further information that you may require.

Hi Stan

Try fixing up the windows file association:
1. Right click a pps
2. Select Open with... -> Choose program (even if PPT 2003 is in the list)
3. Select PowerPoint 2003 from this list and tick 'always use the selected
program to open this kind of file'

BTW this can also be done in windows explorer: tools -> folder options ->
file types
