Powerpoint slide links dont work

I am running powerpoint 2000 on a windows xp machine
and im running a presentation which is hosted by Frontpage
2000.
The first couple of slides are fine but afterwards the
mouse pointer doesnt change and i cant click on the arrow
button to the next slide.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Thanx for the info but it has not made any difference
What i have found out though is that it works on older
systems such as WinNT Office 97 with IE 5.0, from IE 5.5
onwards it doesnt so could it be IE thats causing the Prob?
