Guys,
I got a powerpoint document with over 50 slides which I have
edited. I want to know how I can change the slide background from the
current one to something else for all the slides in the document.

Thanks
Vipin

Dear User,

To change the slide background:

1) Pull down the Format menu and select Background
A dialog box will appear
2) Click the down arrow in order to see your choices. The pull-down menu
will appear
3) Make your background selection:
- Eight colors are suggested. To select one, click it.
or
- To change to a color that is not suggested, click More Colors. Click the
color you want on the Standard tab, or click the Custom tab to create your
own color. Click OK when you have made your selection.
or
- Click Fill Effects to select a texture, gradient, or pattern, or to import
a picture for your background. Click the appropriate tab and choose your
preferences. Click OK when you have made your selection.
4) To change the background color back to its default, click Automatic.
5) To apply the change to the current slide, click Apply.
To apply the change to all slides and the slide master, click Apply to All.

Go to View > Master > Slide Master. Then go to Format > Background where you
can set the background to a solid color, or you can select Fill Effects which
expands your options to include gradients, textures, and pictures.

This changes the background of the template, which will be propagated to all
slides when you return to View > Normal.
