Powerpoint should let me change the style in photographic album

When I insert a photographic album i can´t change the number of photographies
per slide, nor the style of tipography,etc. Thank you

Sure you can. In the photo album dialog (Insert|Picture|New Photo Album),
there's an option at the bottom where you can choose the design template to
use. (It's right underneath where you choose "picture layout," which is how
many pix/slide. You must choose the images to insert before the picture
layout options become available.)

Now, in the picture layout dropdown, you have to select something other than
"fit to slide" in order to have the template option, though. I guess the
thought is if the pix fills the slide, you don't really need a template.
 
I found the following from the PPT help:-

Note: Always use the Format Photo Album dialog box when making changes or
updates to your photo album.

Thank you Glen. Your link is very illustrative and helpful. I didn't know
autoshapes were used.
