PowerPoint save as?

I should know the answers to these questions!

When faced with the save options, most are obvious. What is the save option
"web archive" as opposed to save as "web page"? How has this changed in PPT
2007?

What is the option save as "PowerPoint add" in used for? Is it only to creat
add ins using VBA? I have no expertise in creating add ins but of course do
use some of them. This is for no purpose other than personal curiosity!

Thanks Steve

It is an licenced version, at work. I believe Office 2000 (?) the help
screen says version 2002 ( I do not have full access to check).

The option is not in later versions, just curious.

Where do you see this option? And in which PPT version?
I don't see it in 2003 or 2007.

Got it in one. It saves the code in a PPT file to a special add-in format (but
doesn't save any of the slides, so please don't save anything important to PPA
format unless you've already saved to PPT).

Thanks Steve

Ah, I think the option's now called "Single file web page" rather than Web Archive.
