PowerPoint - recorded sounds won't play automatically with slides!

PowerPoint won't play recorded sounds automatically with slides even though I
am clicking "with previous" as the instructions dictate.

Any solutions?

I am using PowerPoint 2003
 
Hi Lainey

Make sure all the sound files are in the same folder as the ppt then try
re-inserting them. Does that help? If not, more details please! How did you
add the files, what are they etc
