Hi "sam2000",
I have PowerPoint 2002 and do this:
1. To ensure that .WAV sound files are EMBEDDED not LINKED, open PowerPoint
| TOOLS | OPTIONS | GENERAL | LINK SOUNDS with file size greater than......
Type in 9000 KB | OK.
2. With the slideshow saved as a .ppt | Select thumbnail #1 | INSERT |
MOVIES AND SOUNDS | SOUND FROM FILE | Click on the name of the desired sound
file (.WAV only) | OK | "Do you want .......... automatically?" Click YES.
3. Click thumbnail #1 | Click SLIDESHOW | CUSTOM ANIMATION | if necessary,
click on name of sound file | Click the down-arrow to the right of the name
| EFFECT OPTIONS | PLAY SOUND | STOP PLAYING | Select AFTER and type 999 for
the number of slides | TIMING | REPEAT | type 1000 | OK.
Let us know if this works for you.
Good Luck.
