There is no known limit to the number of slides. It is really a matter of
practicality and of system resources. Are you having a problem that prompts
this question?

Dear User,

I think there is no limit but what for are you asking this question ?

Good question. I know I have created shows with over 700
slides. It will probably be more of a computer resource
question - how much memory and what video card does the
computer have to run a 300-400MB show...

There is no known limit to the number of slides.

Since PPT uses Long integers to number the slides internally, I expect it'd
feel threatened by more than 2,147,483,647 slides in a single presentation. To
get more, you'd want to visit TAJ's linking tutorial, I expect.

With or without a template?

With or without a template?

All presentations have the template masters built in and they're not included
in the internal slide indexing scheme.

But another thought - PPT starts its internal numbering at 255 (or was it 256)
so we'd better knock that off the two bazillion just to be safe.

And there might be problems if you create a slide with over two bazillion
masters, so be careful out there.
