How can i increase an object size in animation without losing quality. Is
there a certain version of powerpoint capable of this? I am using 2003

You'll want to use the Emphasis animation of Grow/shrink. There may be,
however, quality issues depending on how large you want the object to enlarge.

You could try creating the object in multiple sizes on mulitple slides (each
slide containing a larger object) then autoadvancing the slides at a higher
speed (fade transition).

As Sandy says you can use the grow / shrink emphasis but quality will be
poor. Try starting with an image at the FINAL size, shrink it by however many
% with the shrink animation, with previous and very very fast (say 0.1 secs),
The lack of quality will be less obvious when its small and when you enlarge
with grow it will look fine. You might want to incorporate another exit
animation to mask the initial shrink eg a rectangle over the slide with an
after previous disappear.

I knew this was out there somewhere..... I just couldn't lay my hands on it
when I wanted to reply to this earlier.
