I want to get rid of the password promting for access to
a website after I dragged and dropped images from that
site into my presentation.
I already deleted all the images coming from that site
that were in my document, but the program still asks for
the password. Is there some sort of residual information
linking my document to that (former) source website?

Try turning off Allow Fast Saves under Tools/Options. Then resave the
presentation using File/Save As.

Sorry, that's not it...
There are no hyperlinks to my pictures: I already deleted the pictures.
Is it possible to get an overview of hyperlinks and remove them?

I think there are other objects with Hyperlinks that I have not
identified...but my file is large....
