Printing a powerpoint presentation in B/W or grayscale results in an
otherwise non-visable horizontal line through some of the print that does not
appear in the colour printing or on screen. How do I get rid of it?

Start by trying this:

Choose View, Color/Grayscale and pick Grayscale from the popup menu (assuming
PPT 2002/2003).

See if the horizontal line now appears on your slides/masters. If so, select
and delete it or move it off the slides.
