I am making a 50th class reunion presentation with music
and pictures. I have one problem the class members want
to stop and look at a picture when i resume the
presentation there is no music even though I checked loop
music. It will only pick up when the next piece of music
starts. Is there any way I can pick up that piece of
music for that group of picures?
Thanks,Ed

The only ways that I know of to do that are:

1. To have an audio clip for each slide (no one's idea of fun)

2. Or to head outside of PowerPoint for this project.

I suggest giving a lot of thought to the timing of your transitions, so that
viewers will feel as if they have gotten their fill of each photo. Linger a
bit on the better photos or the montages of many photos. And let them know
that they can always watch it again... <g>

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint doesn't provide the functionality that you are looking for
(pause and restart slide show <including multi-slide spanning multimedia>).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint provide this kind of functionality (without having to resort to
VBA or add-ins), don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS,
please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
