Powerpoint Presentation

When I try to edit a Powerpoint Presentation file on an
english sytem and this file was created on a french
language system, the powerpoint freezes completely as
soon as I try to add one character. Is this normal? And
how to resolve this? This is on Powerpoint 2002.

There's a bug in the French autocorrect tools, and I'd imagine that's
the problem you're seeing. There used to be a hotfix available for this,
but unfortunately, it seems to no longer be available. You might try
turning off your autocorrect (Tools/Autocorrect) and see if that helps
at all.

Then again, it could have something to do with the language IDs of the
textboxes. Not sure, though. Try turning off autocorrect first and see
if that helps. If not, holler back and I'll scratch my head some more.
