PowerPoint pauses when not the focus window

OK...

Here is my dilemma. I am trying to use PowerPoint to play a presentation on
a large second monitor hung on the wall for potential clients (it will do
this), yet still work on other applications while it is playing.

However, when the slide show is not the focus window it pauses. How can I
accomplish my goal?

As John pointed out, there are add ins that allow this. However I will
caution that you need a very powerful PC to do it and not interrupt
PowerPoint animations or transitions. (You may be able to reduce the
"stuttering" by reducing the presentations complexity.)

I should have metioned that you'll need a powerful computer. personally I'd
just dedicate a comuter to the job and use another computer for other things,
not expensive nowadays!
